Leewman, Shanii, and Silrukin participated with several other characters to bring down Omen at the Lunar Festival (other guildies took part in other slayings of the beast). In this case, some lowbies were trying to train Omen into the town to get him to fight the guards there, and using Elune's Candles to weaken him. But this was meeting with little success. Then a sizable group of horde showed up to attempt to take him down as we waited for reinforcements to arrive. Fearing that they might take Omen down (and make us wait for him to respawn), we harried the horde, scoring several kills and some honor in the process. Eventually they gave up and ran off. Once the reinforcements arrived, we plowed into Omen with Leewman main tanking, and we brought him down without much trouble. Some horde who had gone off PVP even stayed to help the process.

Omen apparently has over 1 million health, but since he doesn't regenerate even if he wipes out all his opponents, the only real trick to killing him is doing enough damage in the 45 minutes you have until he despawns. That, and not dying so many times that it's unprofitable.
