Velonstead

Located in the hills of the Principality of Ulek, Velonstead is ruled by an important hill dwarf family with connections to His Serene Highness, Prince Olinstaad Corond of Ulek, Lord of the Peaks of Haven, scion of house Corond. On the south end of the Lortmils, it's not too far away. It is adjacent to the Pomarj, which is an empire of orcs.

Other Stops

There is a dwarven sea hold on the coast, from which passage might be obtained.

Shorehold

Set in the country of Ratik, technically, where the Rakers nearly touch the sea, Shorehold is very much the typical hill dwarf community out in the open hills, running right up to the sea.

Glory Hold

Glory hold in the Dwur kingdom of Glorvardum (in the Northeastern parts of the Glorioles) is ruled by King Ferug Greshterk. These dwarves are from an ancient lineage and came to this place far in the east very early on. They carry quite a lot of prestige due to being able to trace their lineage back so exactly to the earliest dwarves.

Other Stops

King's Hold, and the ancient burial grounds underneath.

Barleyblood Hold

Barleyblood Hold is in the Iron Hills. This central massif lies east of Irongate, and is relatively densely inhabited by hill dwarves.
