In addition Standard Experience Awards, the following system (which I've shamelessly ripped off) will be used. Bonus experience points will be given:
- 5 exp/cl (character level) for each of a PC's plot hooks or phobias a player manages to use in the game session.
- 10/cl if it plays a big role.
- 10/cl for achieving the current plot's goals or 5/cl progressing towards them.
- 20/cl for giving the DM (or keeping an up-to-date web-page with) a written journal for the character
- 50/cl for doing one of the 'character generation' contributions once the game has begun
- 20/cl for demonstrating a <i>'shining example'</i> of the character's core concept.
- 20-40/cl for active participation.
- A player who does little to nothing that session gets none.
- One who only does the occasional thing gets 20/cl.
- Most people will get 30/cl.
- The most active member, and any player keeping a log of game events, will get 40 exp/character level.
Character Leveling Guidelines
Characters receive maximum hit points at 1st level according to their chosen class. At each additional character level, add hits points by class, according to the following table. Add Constitution bonuses to the values in this table.
| Class | Hit Points Gained |
| Barbarian | 9 |
| Bard | 4 |
| Cleric | 6 |
| Druid | 6 |
| Fighter | 8 |
| Monk | 6 |
| Paladin | 7 |
| Ranger | 6 |
| Rogue | 4 |
| Sorcerer | 3 |
| Wizard | 3 |
For the formula-minded, this generally works out to (Max * .75), rounded up where necessary.
